03-25-10 (Belmont, WV) The Phoenix Management Group announced today Spectro Performance Oils of Brookfield, CT will join the ARCA Truck Series as a contingency sponsor for the 2010 race season.

Spectro Performance Oil products span the full range of fully-synthetic and petroleum lubricants for all classes of “power sports” engines and transmission applications.

The Spectro line also includes a wide range of suspension fluids, fork oils, brake fluids, coolants, chain lubes/waxes, filter cleaners and oils, and protection/appearance products.

Spectro brand products are manufactured and marketed by Intercontinental Lubricants Corporation. In addition to the Spectro-branded line, ILC offers technical assistance, specialty blending and manufacturing services, and provides customized products for motorcycle and automobile engines, transmissions, drive train builders and racing teams.

“They have a great line of lubricants and various fluids that are fairly priced and are high in quality,” said Ed Yoak of Ed and Company Racing Supplies, now a Spectro Performance Oil Authorized Distributor. “One of the most important ingredients in the oil for race engines is zinc, and the Spectro Performance Products have more than most other brands on the market.”

ILC was founded in 1966 by Robert H. Wehman, an engineer with decades of experience in the specialized field of two-cycle automotive lubricants. He capitalized on the knowledge gained by solving fuel/oil mixture problems for Saab of America at a time when Saab marketed 2-stroke automobiles in the USA. He now has brought that same knowledge to the automotive market.

Safety-Kleen and ARCA Truck Series Together for 2010

St. Marys, WV (3/9/10) – Phoenix Management Group officials announced Wednesday that an agreement has been reached and Safety-Kleen has signed on to be a contingency sponsor for 2010 ARCA Truck Series racing season.

“I am glad to add Safety-Kleen to our growing list of world class companies that are using the ARCA Truck Series as one of their marketing avenues.” said Tom Cumbow, General Manager of the ARCA Truck Series. “Their commitment to the best products is only beaten by their commitment to the environment and we are proud to have them on board.”

In 1954, Safety-Kleen was started by Ben Palmer, who also invented the parts washer. The parts washer was a success from the start, and he decided in the early 1960’s not to sell his machine, but to lease it to the customer and service it by removing and replenishing the used solvent.

Today, Safety-Kleen with headquarters located in Plano, Texas, is a leading provider of environmental services, oil re-refining and responsible cleaning solutions. They are still at the forefront of developing practical green processes for business, just as they were the day the company was founded. Few people share their passion for keeping workplaces safe by keeping the environment clean. Safety-Kleen’s passion has fueled innovation and that combination punctuates their history with notable firsts and remarkable achievements.
